Formed in 2009 in Denton, Texas, Wiccans emerged as a ferocious yet hypnotic force in hardcore punk, blending the raw aggression of early Boston hardcore with the swirling, melodic mysticism of '70s psychedelic rock. Often described as what would happen if SS Decontrol and Blue Öyster Cult violently collided, the band carved out a singular niche with their wild, inventive sound.
